Katherine Batsis has been dancing for a long time. She appreciates the freedom of movement and expression that many agree just can't be found anywhere else! In recent years, her favorite style of dance has been square dancing, to which she has dedicated herself in earnest. While the pandemic may have slowed her dancing feet down a little bit, she still holds the love of dance deep in her heart forever. Listeners of Kathi's Perspective should expect to hear a word from time to time about Kathi's musical movements!
The Knit-Wits
Kathi belongs to the hilariously named Knit-Wits, a local knitting circle who does it for fun and for charity. There are few things more enjoyable to Kathi than grabbing her basket, sitting down with her good friends and knitting the night away! There are many things Kathi could share from her Knit-Wits world, so let's hope she does exactly that during the minutes and hours of her new show.

For many years now, the study of languages has been very important to Kathi Batsis. No foreign language has been more important to her than French, which she has devoted many years to perfecting. While there's always room for improvement, it's remarkable that Kathi has managed to become so adept at this language, impressing friends and instructors alike. C'est magnifique!
Play Us a Melody
Kathi Batsis loves more than just moving to music, she equally enjoys playing it. A skilled pianist and vocalist, Kathi pours her heart and soul into every melody, every chord she plays. She believes that music is perhaps the most beautiful expression of emotion we have as humans beings. In many ways, Kathi's whole life is like a piano piece; she is always keeping busy, seemingly in a million different directions at once, like cascading piano notes. Yet, she strikes a lovely, harmonious balance in life and in spirit--and it shows.
The above interests are not Kathi's only interests (far from it), but these are some of the big ones in the category of culture and fine arts. We hope to hear about all this and more during the first season of Kathi's Perspective.
